What is your business?
Mindful Fork is a boutique catering company based in River Falls, WI. We specialize in farm-to-fork menus that highlight fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Every dish is chef-curated with care, and every event is designed to feel personal, memorable, and delicious.
Who is your customer?
We cater to couples and hosts who value high-quality food and meaningful experiences. Many of our clients are planning weddings, intimate gatherings, or special celebrations and are looking for a caterer who brings both heart and craft to the table.
Is there anything big happening with your business you'd like to share?
Yes! We recently launched a seasonal pop-up venue in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, designed for weddings, food events, and community gatherings. It’s a beautiful blend of rustic charm and modern elegance—just like our food.
What is something interesting about you/your business?
Mindful Fork started as a small meal prep service with no outside investment and has grown into a thriving catering company serving over 170 events a year. We’re still rooted in the same values—community, integrity, and great food from local farms.
Why did you join the SCVBIC?
I was excited to be a part of a community with other like minded small business owners. The networking, and continued support are invaluable perks to our membership. There was nothing like it in western Wisconsin! Our community kitchen was the first of its kind and unheard of at the time. We went from a huge open warehouse to an enclosed warehouse community kitchen with 7 unique businesses. It was groundbreaking for our county and industry, I am thrilled and honored to be a founding member.
What have you enjoyed most about working at the SCVBIC?
The center has a wide variety of different business owners and resources within our work community and the interns are always an added bonus! From the business coaching, sharing a space with other like minded people, educational classes, and valuable connections the SCVBIC has been my home for 4 years and I am grateful!
